JULIA GRYGORCZYK

I am a visual artist from Poland, born in 2001 in Białystok, currently based in Chicago. I work across painting, printmaking, and digital media. I hold a Master’s degree in Graphic Arts from the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland.

My artistic practice bridges traditional craftsmanship and contemporary digital expression, combining linocut, mezzotint, and painting with digital illustration, poster design, and visual storytelling.

I have presented my work in several solo exhibitions in Poland and participated in numerous group shows both nationally and internationally, including in Italy, Portugal, France, Spain, and Japan. In 2022, I took part in the “Flash Drawing Tour” Symposium at the KAUS Graphic Arts Center in Urbino, Italy, and in two editions of the international project “Chiado, Carmo, Paris” (2022–2023). My works have been recognized in several competitions, including the Third Prize in the 15th Small Graphic Forms Competition, the Second Prize in the 16th edition of the same competition, and awards at the 41st and 42nd Władysław Strzemiński Competitions at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.
